Story
Rome, 114 AD.
Beneath the greatest city in the world lies the Cloaca Maxima: an ancient maze of tunnels, chambers and forgotten passages.
Four unlikely companions have been sent below to hunt a mysterious cult. A veteran legionary. An ambitious nobleman. A disgraced Vestal. A Gallic slave who knows the sewers better than any Roman ever will.
But they do not explore together. One character acts as the SCOUT, venturing ahead alone. When danger appears, the Scout must decide: face it alone, or fall back and let the rest of the group fight.
Explore the sewers. Search darkened chambers. Find weapons, armour, keys and supplies. Manage each character's limited inventory. Choose who fights, who stays back — and who risks walking ahead.
Combat is tactical. Resources are finite. Death is permanent.
There are no reflex challenges and no magic spells.
Success depends on preparation, judgement and knowing when not to fight.
Every step is a decision.
Every decision has consequences...
