How to Play

You, as Chikubi Ninja, must explore different areas, each one leading to a Karakuro clan fortress where you will have to face and destroy an evil deity. Along your way you will have to fight the Karakuro clan foes and many wild creatures, so don't expect it to be an easy mission! LIVES: You start your mission with 3 lives in stock, but extra lives can be obtained by scoring 2500 points. The HIT indicator shows how many hits you can withstand before losing a life. When you lose all of your lives, you will be asked to continue playing (by choosing YES, you will restart at the first stage of the current area). WEAPONS: You can switch between 2 kinds of weapons, the shurikens and the katana. Shurikens are great for ranged attacks, but you should use them carefully because you have a limited stock. However, you can use the katana indefinitely, which is perfect for close, stronger attacks. Once you run out of shurikenks, it will automatically switch to the katana. COINS: Along your way you will find some special coins. Go and catch them all because, apart from giving you some valuable points, they will grant you different advantages: -Grey Coin: You get 50 extra shurikens-Magenta Coin: You get your hit bar restored (extra points if your bar is already full)-Orange Coin: You get inmunity for a short time-Purple Coin: It destroys all enemies currently in sight You can also get a coin which will grant you 10 extra shurikens by showing your skills killing all enemies attacking in a group of 3.
You can use the Keyboard or a Joystick/Pad in any port. There are 2 control modes that can be selected when you start the game. Both modes work perfectly with Keyboard/Joystick/Pad: KEYBOARD MODE /: Walk: Jump up: Drop down//Button A: Shoot////Button B: Change weapon JOYSTICK MODE /: Walk////Button B: Jump up////Button B + : Drop down//Button A: ShootKeep pressed //Button A: Change weapon : It switches to 50Hz by pressing it while booting (the game boots automatically at 60Hz)
